Clubcard
One of the many benefits of the car insurance policies offered by Tesco Finance is that you can contribute any Clubcard points you have accumulated towards the cost of the premium, making your money go even further.
Tesco Clubcard points can be accumulated at a rate of 1 point for every £1 you spend in any Tesco store, on Tesco.com, with Tesco petrol and when you use other Tesco products such as Tesco Mobile, Broadband and Home Phone. Additionally, Tesco now offer a Clubcard credit card that enables you to accumulate Clubcard points wherever you shop.
Clubcard points are rewarded every time you swipe your Tesco Clubcard or Clubcard Credit Card on purchases over £1 and redemption vouchers are sent out quarterly with your Clubcard statement. So, by putting your Clubcard points towards the cost of your car insurance policy you're getting even better value for money. For added flexibility Clubcard points can be redeemed as either partial or total payment of your car insurance premium.
To contribute your Clubcard points towards your Tesco Car Insurance policy you will need to pay the premium in full and then redeem your vouchers back against the cost (instructions of how to do this will be enclosed in your policy welcome pack), whereby you will be issued with a refund of any money owed. Vouchers must be valid, undamaged and in date to be eligible. Additionally, the Clubcard holder must live at the same address as the Tesco Car Insurance policyholder for the Clubcard vouchers to be accepted as payment.
While Clubcard points are not rewarded against the purchase of Tesco Car Insurance products as standard, Tesco regularly offer promotions whereby Clubcard points are available for free when customers get a quote or take out a car insurance policy.
